How am I meant to find the time to read everything you've posted? Have you posted about the use of the word "that"? I think it's a virus I've been infected by. Jerome points out that you can choose either to ride bicycles, or to maintain them. Not both. As a sweeping generalisation, you could argue that good writers are like accomplished riders, and that grammar nazis are like obsessive bicycle mechanics.
